1.  BUNGEE JUMPING- Rishikesh is home to India’s highest bungee jumping platform located at Jumping Heights in Mohan Chatti, about 25 km from Rishikesh town. This activity offers a thrilling experience with an incredible view of the Ganges River and the surrounding mountains.
  • Height: The bungee jump platform stands at an altitude of 83 meters (approximately 270 feet), making it one of the highest bungee jumping spots in India.
  • Safety: Jumping Heights follows international safety standards and uses high-quality, regularly tested equipment. The activity is conducted with safety harnesses, ropes, and other safety protocols.
  • Jump Options: There are several options, including the traditional bungee jump, where you leap off the platform into the gorge, and the tandem jump, where two people can jump together.
2. RIVER RAFTING- Rishikesh River Rafting is an exhilarating adventure activity on the Ganges River, known for its stunning views and thrilling rapids. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas, Rishikesh offers a variety of rafting experiences for both beginners and seasoned adventurers.
  • Rapids: Refers to areas in a river where the water falls quickly  over rocks or other obstacles, creating turbulent and fast-moving sections. Rapids are categorized based on their speed, difficulty, and the height of the waves, which are key factors in determining the challenge of level for activities like river rafting, in the context of rafting, rapids are assigned grades (I to VI) to indicate their level of difficulty. 
  • Safety: Professional guides, life jackets, helmets, and safety instructions ensure a safe experience. Emergency rescue teams are also available.
  • Best Time: The best months for rafting are September to June, when the weather is pleasant and the river conditions are ideal. Monsoon season (July-August) is risky due to high water levels.

3. HOT AIR BALLOONING- Hot air ballooning is an exciting and unique way to explore the scenic beauty of Rishikesh and its surroundings.   • Hot air balloon rides typically last between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on weather conditions and wind direction.
